About

Petra, born on April 23, 1964, lives and works in two inspiring locations: Munich, Germany, and Troviscais in Alentejo, Portugal.

These “in-between worlds” provide her with the perfect balance of urban vibrancy and rural tranquility, which resonates throughout her artistic work. As a seasoned entrepreneur, she has explored various fields and founded several companies, each deeply connected to art and design. Her creative journey is marked by a profound appreciation for form, color, and mood.

In recent years, Petra and her family acquired a property in Portugal, where they renovated four stylish holiday apartments. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, she established her own studio, infused with the calm, light, and unique energy of Alentejo. This creative haven allows Petra to develop her artistic vision, providing the ideal environment for experimenting with clay and color while capturing the essence of people and emotions.

Petra primarily works with clay and paint. Her figurative sculptures and portraits reflect not only her joy in creation but also her deep connection to the individuals she portrays.

Each piece is an expression of personality and emotion, crafted through a harmonious interplay of form, color, and expression. Her work invites viewers to experience the world from a more heartfelt perspective and to connect on a deeper emotional level.
